Trace admission requirements For Beginning Freshmen

The following requirements must be submitted to the office of the Registrar:

• TRACE College Application for Admission Form TC ADM Form No. 1
• Certified True Copy of Secondary School Records (Year I to Year III) to be accomplished by the Registrar TC ADM Form No. 1
• One (1) recommendation from adviser, principal, or guidance counselor TC ADM Form No. 3
• Two (2) 2x2 ID pictures to be attached to the Exam Permit TC ADM Form No. 4 and TC ADM Form No. 1

For Transferees

• Copy of Grades/Transcript of Records for evaluation of units that could be credited
• Trace College Application for Admission Form TC ADM Form No. 1
• Examination Permit TC ADM Form No. 4
• Two (2) 2x2 ID Pictures to be attached to the Exam Permit (TC ADM No. 4) and TC ADM Form No. 1

Admission Policies
TRACE College maintains an "Open Door Admission Policy." All students who are graduates of accredited high schools are eligible to apply regardless of age, gender, nationality, religious belief, or political affiliation provided he/she satisfies the entrance requirements.

New Students applying for admission maybe classified as Beginning Freshmen or Transferees. Both are graduates of accredited high schools but the latter have already earned credits from another college institution and wish to apply these credits toward a TRACE College degree or title. They maybe admitted to TRACE College on the basis of the following:

Entrance Examination

• All applicants for admission are required to take the entrance examination which will measure the cognitive abilities of the applicants via five areas namely Verbal Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Pictorial Reasoning, Figural Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning.

Medical Examination

• All applicants are required to undergo a thorough medical examination by the TRACE accredited clinic prior to enrollment. An applicant who is considered unfit or has communicable disease shall not be considered for enrollment.

Admissions Procedures

1. Inquire at AIC and avail the list of Admission requirements (TC ADM Info No. 1). If transferee, submit Copy of Grades or Transcript of Records for evaluation of units credited from previous school.
2. Avail the Application for Admission Kit from AIC after payment at the Cashier.
3. Submit Admission requirements to AIC for checking and evaluation.
4. Secure entrance exam schedule and permit after payment at the Cashier.
5. Take the Entrance/Evaluation Exam on scheduled date at the designated venue. The list of applicants who have passed the entrance exam will be posted at the AIC. Results can be also be accessed through TRACE College's website.
6. Confirm intent to enroll no later than ________ after payment of reservation fee (P_______) at the Cashier and avail the medical referral for the medical exam. In case an applicant was found medically unfit to enroll, the reservation fee will be refunded and the slot forfeited. All applicants will be notified of their admission i.e., acceptance, non-acceptance, or placement on the waiting list through the notice of admission decision which will be sent on ____________. Applicants are encouraged to contact AIC concerning the decision and subsequent instructions if no letter has been received on or before the scheduled date.
7. Come back during the scheduled enrollment date.
