If you are a transferee, you are also required to submit your Transcript of Records (TOR) or Copy of Grades (COG) for evaluation of units that can be credited.
All application forms (TC ADM Forms 1 to 3) are in the Admission Kit which can be obtained from the Admissions and Information Center (AIC) upon payment of a non-refundable application and processing fee.
Admission requirements should be submitted to AIC for checking before the entrance exam day. Entrance exam permits are given to examinees upon submission of complete requirements.
Entrance exams are normally scheduled on Saturdays. AIC does not accept admission requirements anymore during the entrance exam day. All examinees are expected to have their permits by then. Permits are only given if the complete requirements have been submitted.
Aside from performance in the entrance exam, the scholastic achievement of transferees from their previous school(s) is also considered in their admission. Since it takes a while before COG's/TOR's are processed, transferees are allowed to take the entrance exam but admission decision is put on hold until submission of COG/TOR.
It depends on the subject descriptions. The Registrar evaluates subjects that could be credited.
The entrance exam covers verbal comprehension, verbal reasoning, figural reasoning, and quantitative reasoning.
The entrance exam lasts for one (1) hour and 30 minutes. Examinees are expected to be at the AIC for checking of permits 30 minutes before the time. Late examinees are asked to take the exam on another schedule and pay a penalty.
Examinees are required to bring the following during the entrance exam: exam permit, two (2) sharpened pencils, sharpener, and eraser.
The entrance exam is among the factors considered in an applicant's admission. Other factors are the previous scholastic achievement (i.e., 1st to 3rd year High school grades for beginning freshmen, General Average of subjects taken from previous College/University for transferees) and the Recommendation of former adviser, guidance counselor, or principal.
